I worked with Damian SAT/ACT Prep from August to February, and I was able to achieve my goal score. I prepared for both the SAT and the ACT and increased my scores significantly after tutoring for only a month or two. I want to first start off by saying thank you for being such an amazing tutor who is so personable, kind, and extremely efficient in teaching new ways to think. When I first started working with you, I knew science was the most challenging area for myself on the ACT, and had the mindset that this section would be my lowest score. Achieving a perfect score on science is something I honestly never thought I could do. Although we only worked together for about 6 weeks, the limited time frame and the improvement I was able to make with your help truly exhibits the impact you had on my score. When we first started working together, I continuously scored upper twenties on my practice tests, something we both wanted to change. Once you showed me knew methods to solve the problems in science, applying these skills lead to my 36 on the actual February 2018 ACT! Through working with you, my confidence when taking the science section increased tremendously, and doing the extra homework proved to the worth it, as science ended up being my highest score with an overall 34! I am so happy to be your first student to get a 36 on science, and I am sure with someone like you as their tutor, many others will earn this score as well.

We have three children that all have gone to Alex and his team. All have had tremendous results. The first was accepted into an honors business program at a public university which selects only 20 students a year from an undergraduate population over 30 thousand. The second is in an honors college at a public university and became a TA as a freshman. Our youngest is a junior and just took the ACT for the third time and received a composite score of 35. The ACT isn’t a test that public schools will generally prepare students for. It is up to the individual to study the test and learn how to manage their time effectively while maintaining focus and accuracy. I was weak primarily in Math and Alex showed me exactly what College Board is looking for and how to utilize a plethora of test-taking strategies to improve my thinking and approach to the test.
